Pint Box

A peace-offering to cagey locals at a pub in the projects, the pint box is a gift for the elderly.  Nancy and Roy leave their personal glasses in the pub, where the bartender fills them automatically as they enter.  This is their place, and the personal glasses give them an identity, some significance in a world of anonymity.  What if a glass were like a bowling ball, transported in a special case to and from the daily arena?  Here is the packaging for transport, constructed of a single block of wood and a bicycle tube to mimic the simple aesthetics of the pub.  The lid doubles as a coaster or ashtray.
